Description |
Princess Olga, the founder of Pskov — is the image of a Russian heroine, a wise, intelligent, beautiful woman. On the one hand, a cunning and merciless warrior, on the other-a loving wife and mother. Already at a young age, she conquered Prince Igor with her beauty and wisdom. And it was with her that Igor tied his future fate. They were happily married. Igor led the war, and Olga was engaged in the internal affairs of the state. They had a son Svyatoslav. But the joy of family life was short-lived: Olga learns about the death of her husband. Igor was killed by the Drevlyans. The entire burden of running the state falls on her fragile shoulders. Grieving for her husband, she takes cruel revenge on the Drevlyans. It destroyed more than five thousand Drevlyansky soldiers, burned the whole city. This revenge Olga stopped all attempts at arbitrariness. She became the sovereign mistress of the Russian land. But even after strengthening the state with new orders, she felt an emptiness in her soul. From an early age, she was looking for an answer to the question "what is the best thing in the world?" and found a precious pearl – Christ. Her name is forever in the history of our country. She is a woman-hero, a wise man, who sincerely loved her husband, her homeland and her people! All her experiences, love, the death of her husband, revenge on the murderers, and such a personal feeling that we call faith, the composer Vyacheslav Kruglik conveyed in his work. It is called "Princess Olga" - overture for symphony orchestra. |
