| Description |
The Concerto for trumpet and string orchestra was written in 2014. The combination of the timbre of a brass instrument and a string group helped to increase the contrast between the soloist and the orchestra. The lyrically detached first movement and the fiercely assertive second lead us to the climactic third movement, the semantic center of which is the cadence of the trumpet. |
